JANUARY 2010

CATCH UP DEC
Swine Flu, did you get your jab? I had mine and while the injection itself didn't hurt... too much.. later my arm felt like it had been plummeted. "Ouch" but at least now its over with.. does that mean I can't catch Swine Flu now? Next up was having a tattoo covered up, been wanting to have this done since finding out about Brian's affairs. So now instead of a rose with Brian written in it I now have a larger rose with Jake wrote underneath.. so much better.
Okay horsey things, Sunday 13th had me riding out with a few others around Woburn and it was a great ride out. Taking Spike I never knew what to expect but thankfully it was a serence ride that didn't need energy from me and for once I never ended up gasping and struggling to breathe. Usually I am spluttering and coughing like an old pensioner.
December also seen me carol singing on horseback with Kyle this time, along with Lucy and plenty of others. The singing was hit and miss but it was good fun and got me out the house for a bit.

The horses so far seem to being doing okay living out and heard soon a field shelter is going to be built. At least then I will be happier about how the horses will fair living out 24/7.

JANUARY

Tut tut guess hwo was caught speeding? Who me... yes me.. dunno what happened, well of course I know what happened, goign to fast is what.. what I mean is I dunno how I was doing over the limit, all I can say is I must have thought I wa in a 40 zone when it was 30. Groan..!! I have stayed clear of points for 7 years.. but luckily I can attend a Saw course so while I still pay a £60 fine I don't get any points on my license.. phew!!!
After a lousy Xmas day my birthday was so much better, spent riding out with friends around Woburn, yes Woburn again coz its such a great place to ride out. I was so pleased with Spike, he ws reluctant to stand for me to get on him and I thought "Oh Dear wot kinda ride am I gonna get" well it was the bee's knee's, Spike was brill even while the other horses were having a fenzie. I did cut the ride short though as my body was telling me it had had enough and when it says that I have to listen.

Were you at the Social meeting at Lucy's who endured 20 of us invading her house. It was a great evening and while the DVD of the PNH Celebration was playing a few distracted us with their chit chat.. I wonder who that was.. can you guess.. nope it wasn't me. For those we wanted to watch the DVD there's always another day lol. It was however great to chat and catch up with everyone.

The hardships of January... well from December as well.. twice a day everyday seen me filling buckets with hot water, Brian putting the water in the car then off I went to pick Dawnie up (who has been a great help) feeding horses, steaming hay, poo picking etc. Dawnie carried the water from the car as no way could I do it. Some days it was 1-2 more journeys for more water if the trough was frozen. Am I pleased the hard frost has gone.. for now... Mind these past few days has seen the heavy weight rugs back on the horses... oh err!!

Not done anything really with the horses, either not well or too cold... I'll be pleased when summer is here.
