ADDITIONAL INFO
You can ride to the beach very easily - it is about a mile - probably less and can be done entirely off road. You just have to cross one road but it's easy to see both ways.
Desmond will show you where to go - you can actually see the route from the campsite.
You could also ride in the fields alongside the main road from Holkham to Wells
